Master’s Degree program in Russian Studies

 

Master’s Degree program in Russian Studies covers various aspects of Russia’s past and present: language, culture, political and social life. The key issues are identity, modernity and integration in the broader cultural context of Post-Soviet Eurasia, as well as intensive study of Russian language.  Courses on Identity (defining Russian identity features), Modernity (Russia's place in the changing world), Integration (the architecture of the post-Soviet Space) are held in English. Plus, the essential part of the program is the Russian language course. 
UrFU graduates can receive a European Diploma Supplement, issued in concordance with recommendations of the Council of Europe and UNESCO.
The deadline for submitting applications for the Master's program to UrFU is August, 2013.
The fall semester starts September 1, 2013.
