How to find your way through the CU website
Homepage
The Comenius University homepage and the homepages of the individual faculties offer fast access to the most important and most frequently sought information. Any faculty homepage is easily accessible straight from the university homepage and vice versa. To get back to the university or faculty homepage just click on the university or faculty logo. The university homepage allows access to the Sitemap, text search, contact search, and language switch.
Sitemap
The Sitemap represents the hierarchically organized list of the most important website pages. Visitors are offered the overall view of the site structure, as well as the possibility to open any of the pages shown in the map. Just click on the relevant name.
Text search
The Text search offers the list of pages containing the selected text string. Apart from the basic search, Advanced search is also allowed, which enables to modify the way of search, to reduce the types of documents searched through, or to determine the way of showing the search results.
Contact search
The Contact search is used to search for CU employees and students according surnames or their subsrings.
Breadcrumbs
Breadcrumbs can be found under the main navigation. They always show the topical hierarchical route to the document which has just been opened. It is possible to click on each part of the route, thus opening the relevant page.
Printing of pages
A page will be converted into the printable form with the help of the Print button (at the bottom of the page) or the keyboard shortcuts Ctrl+P (in OS Windows/Linux), or Command+P (in the system Mac OS). The PDF button at the bottom of the page is used for saving or printing the pages in the PDF format.
Write to us
The date of the last update and the name of the person responsible for the contents are given at the bottom of each page. If you wish to write to the person, click on his/her name. Your constructive comments will be reflected in the website updates of CU and the faculties as fast as possible. General comments should be sent from the form to be found on the Write to webmaster page.
