Law in Global Society

Law in Global Society program – AIS enrollment open!

 

Comenius University students can now pre-enroll to six elective courses grouped into the Law in Global Society program through the AIS for 2010-2011. The option of pre-enrollment remains open until 16 July 2010. The program is targeted at future leaders who seek to understand the changes in global governance and common regulatory framework of the fast-globalizing societies. Completing all six courses gives you practical skills to navigate in legal aspects of global business and economic relations and gain awareness of the emerging opportunities, whether in business or in public sector. Although enrolling to all six couses is recommended, it is not mandatory - selecting your own mix is possible. Enrollment slots are limited to 20 per course. The six 2-semester Law in Global Society courses, AIS codes included*, are:

PraF KOFHP/2-PRV-620, PraF KOFHP/2-PRV-627 Law and Economic Development (3+3 ECTS credits)

PraF KOFHP/2-PRV-622, PraF KOFHP/2-PRV-629 International Taxation + International Financial and Banking Transactions (3+3 ECTS credits)

PraF KOFHP/2-PRV-618, PraF KOFHP/2-PRV-625 Comparative Competition Law (3+3 ECTS credits)

PraF KOFHP/2-PRV-621, PraF KOFHP/2-PRV-628 Intellectual Property: Commercial Aspects (3+3 ECTS credits)

* Course title in AIS might differ; course code always remains the same. First code denotes the Winter term course part, second code marks the Summer term part.

Successful graduates of the entire program will be awarded a certificate and will have the chance to participate in one of the available internships.
